This place is very dry and water for the irrigation of the fields has to be transported from far away. For many hundred years, water channels have been built and are maintained. In the German speaking part of this county, such a channel is called Suome and in the French speaking part, these are known as Bise.

Provided the browser recognises the kmz-file, the program starts. If not, the kmz-file is saved and can be opened manually in Google Earth.

Interactive Panorama
The browser must be HTML5 compatible and JavaScript must be enabled in order to show the interactive panorama.

Once the panorama has loaded, move mouse pointer into the picture. Press the left mouse key and move mouse left, right, up and down.
This controls the direction and speed of the scrolling. Pressing the Shift key zooms in and pressing the Control key zooms out.



If the interactive panorama does not appear the browser does not handle HTML5 or JavaScript is not enabled.
