— 3D World: Anaglyphs, Wiggle-3D — Wiggle Animation with Bryce A wiggle animation is not an anaglyph but a different and less known method to show depth. The picture for the left eye is exchanged by the one for the right eye and back in quick succession. The horizontal shift for near objects is bigger than for objects in some distance. Due to the changing parallax distances become discernible. Like for the anaglyph two renders are needed. Set the camera to the position for the left eye and save the position. Set the Time Scrubber to 00:00:00.00 and add the first keyframe. Now move the camera a bit to the right (eye distance) and save this position as well. Now move the time scrubber a bit to the right to 00:00:00.01 and set another keyframe. In the Animation Setup dialogue set Current Frame # to 0 and the one at Duration to 1. Set Play to Repeat and Display to Frame Count. The important bit here is FPS (frames per second). The higher it is set, the faster the image wiggles. In the Render Animation dialogue tick Entire Duration, Start Frame 00 and End Frame 01. Then chose the output format for the animation and set the File Location; then render. Examples
The anaglyph is in Gallery 2, below the small version: The eye distance in the anaglyph is 7.925 BU, which is the default value for the Anaglyph Lens System ALS (see Bryce 7 Pro True 3D Rendering); for the wiggle images, 10.000 BU was used. |
