— The Weather in CH-3952 Susten: Reliability —
This is a hobbist's weather station, not scientifically accurate gear. The station is old. The collected data must not be considered as precise and absolute. However, the errors are always the same. That means that these records can be used to compare weather data over the years.
For the sake of this collection, each year has 366 days. Years that are not leap years do not have data for 29. February. Usually the time is the CET Central European (Winter-) Time (UTC +1 hour). There is some doubt about having used daylight saving time CEST (Central European Summer Time) some of the years prior to 2000.
The weather station runs on commercial power but has a backup battery in case of a power fail. The internal clock runs with an accuracy of about 10 minutes a year. It is reajusted at least once a year.
Unfortunately, the collection is not complete and there are holes in the data. Not all obvious erroneous measurements have been discovered to be set to the not measured value.
