Spiralizer

Spiralizer generates any kinds of 3D spiral models for all renderers which can import DXF objects. A text defines the cross-section (normally just a round dot) and there are 10 parameters which define the spirals.

Note: The link to Spiralizer does not work anymore. Neither is there a link on the main site of the author (www.arminsoft.ch).

The program runs under Windows from version 95 hence but needs MFC42.DLL and MSVCRT.DLL, both of which can be found on the website as MS-DLL.ZIP with 575 KB. The program itself is 242 KB to download and uses 350 KB on the harddisk (with the DLLs 1.5 MB). Installation consists of unpacking the program with the two DLLs within the zip into a folder of your choice spiralizer12.zip.

Export Formats
The spirals created can be exported into the following 3D formats:

• DXF AutoCAD (for Bryce)
• UDO/INC POV-Ray
